The Tribute Hybrid is manufactured by Mazda. It is a compact CUV Hybrid and it is being produced by Mazda since 2001. The Tribute is less costly than the Ford Escape and Mercury Mariner.
The Mazda Tribute Hybrid was introduced in 2001. It had all type wheel drive and a choice of transversely 2.0 L 4-cylinder engine or 3.0 L V6 with manual transmission.

This Tribute Hybrid functions as a generator in deceleration and charges the battery. It has a system which powers the vehicle up to 40 kilometers per hour and also supplies auxiliary power.
Apart from that a nickel-hydrogen battery system has been also installed on the floor of the rear luggage space which gives stable battery performance over an extended period.
While being extremely eco-friendly, the Tribute Hybrid offers powerful and smooth acceleration and it can cover more than 640 kilometers (400 miles) before refueling.
The New Mazda Tribute has trim levels and it comes with 16” alloy wheels other features like automatic headlights, foglights, automatic climate control, 60/40 split rear seatback, cruise control, rear tinted windows, a tilt steering wheel, a satellite radio, CD player, four-speaker stereo and steering-wheel controls. Its Design was based on the gasoline version.
